A BOLD NEW CHAPTER

Born from the heart of the Jae Foundation, Boot-Check Sports Ranch will be a 26-acre refuge just south of Twin Falls where kids can unplug from screens, move their bodies, and rediscover connection. Designed for youth 24 and under, the Ranch will combine athletics, outdoor adventure, and leadership development to create a one-of-a-kind space for growth, healing, and belonging.
With facilities for sports, equine experiences, and leadership retreats, Boot-Check Sports Ranch will be more than a place to play—it will be a place to grow. Whether it’s learning teamwork on the court, grit in the arena, or balance in nature, every experience will help young people strengthen both body and mind.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are there any current facilities you are modeling the Sports Ranch after?
Yes. The Boot-Check Sports Ranch was inspired by two outstanding facilities: the WYO Sports Ranch in Casper, Wyoming and the Wooden Family Fieldhouse in Xenia, Ohio. Jason and Paige Vickrey were supporters of both projects and are now working closely with their leadership teams to bring proven expertise and best practices to the Magic Valley. By learning from these successful models, the Ranch will combine innovation with community-driven values to create something uniquely impactful for our region.
When will the Sports Ranch open to the public?
The Ranch will open in phases. A few special events are planned for 2026, but the full opening of the Sports Arena — where most of the programming will take place — will happen once all funds are raised. Stay connected with us on social media for updates and announcements as milestones are reached.
Who owns the Boot-Check Sports Ranch?
The Ranch is a sister non-profit to the Jae Foundation. Its launch was made possible by the generosity of five local Magic Valley families, whose initial donations secured the property and brought the Boot-Check Sports Ranch to life. Their vision and commitment laid the foundation for a project designed to serve generations.
What kind of programming will be offered at the Sports Ranch?
While sports are at the heart of the Ranch, programming will go far beyond athletics. Offerings will include youth sports, leadership development, wellness initiatives, retreats, equine experiences, creative play areas, and community events. Each program is designed to strengthen families, inspire youth, and create spaces where people can grow together. Stayed tuned as we finalize and announce all of our events and programing!
Will this be open to all of the Magic Valley?
Absolutely. The Ranch is designed to serve the Magic Valley and beyond. With more than 6 million people living within 320 miles of Twin Falls, we believe the Ranch can become a shining star in the region — impacting local youth while also drawing families and leaders from across the Northwest.
What will the house be used for?
The existing house on the property will be transformed into a Leadership House, a hub for impact and sustainability. It will host retreats, leadership training, and gatherings, and will also be available to rent for both non-profits and for-profit organizations seeking a space that inspires growth and collaboration.
What do I do if I want to work at the Sports Ranch someday?
We are still a ways off from hiring, but opportunities will come as the Ranch grows. Follow us on social media and keep an eye out for job postings, internships, and volunteer opportunities as they arise. We’re excited to welcome passionate people into this mission.
Do you still have to raise more money to complete the Sports Ranch?
Yes. This is a multi-million, multi-year project, and we still have a ways to go before it is fully realized. Every dollar raised goes directly toward building and sustaining the Ranch. If you or someone you know is interested in donating, please reach out — your support makes this vision possible.
How will the Sports Ranch impact the local community?
The Ranch is designed with youth at its core. Our motto, “For Our Youth,” reflects our commitment to creating a one-of-a-kind property that strengthens families, creates economic opportunities, and fosters a culture of leadership and wellness. It will be a place of refuge from the fast pace and distractions of modern life — a space where community can thrive.
How can I support the Boot-Check Sports Ranch today?
You can support by donating, volunteering, attending events, or simply sharing our mission with others. Every act of generosity helps us move closer to opening the doors of the Ranch and creating a lasting legacy for the Magic Valley and beyond.
